AUDITIONS!!! for Macbeth by William Shakespeare

Lights Up Productions is proud to announce auditions for our annual Shakespeare in the Park! Join us on this foreboding march through the tragic story of Macbeth. This will be a reduced 70-minute script. Ages 6 and up are encouraged to audition. This is a fast-paced movement heavy play with lots of swordplay. Ensemble and non-speaking roles are available. Come play with Lights Up Productions’ Community Theater this summer.

  • Callbacks June 1 @ 6pm-8pm
  • Cold read — no preparation required. Sides coming soon.

PRODUCTION

LUP is excited to offer this opportunity for our community theatre artists to do a deep dive into the tragedy of Macbeth. Performers will get to train in classical movement styles, stage combat and will work together to bring “the forest to Dunsinane”, right at Coburn Park, Skowhegan.

REHEARSALS

Held three nights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) at the Coburn Park Amphitheater from June 16 to July 30 from 6 pm – 8 pm. Times and days may vary depending on cast availability. Rain location at the Skowhegan Opera House.
